Concerning “Legalese” and
“Priest Crafting”
To show that the Legal and Pharmaceutical Industries INTENTIONALLY
have made the laws and “medicine” non-comprehensible by the
average person, an objective method of measuring the readability of
English text must be discussed. English scholars use a scale known as
the "Flesch Index" that measures the level of understanding
necessary for an individual to comprehend the written English
language. Newspapers are written at an average comprehension level
of 7. The average high school graduate reads and understands at a
level of 10. The average law school graduate
reads and comprehends at a level of 15. The Internal Revenue Code
ranks on this index at an average level of 31,
with some specific provisions as high as 55. And the words
that are used in the law have specific legal definitions that are
different from the common English definitions. Since the laws that we
are supposed to obey are written at a level that an individual of
reasonable intelligence cannot understand, then perhaps we should be
highly suspect of the law writer's motives. By making
the law so difficult to comprehend, Congress has effectively removed
our access to Justice and Equality under the Law.
Then, to add insult to injury, “they” have
placed a “cloak of immunity” around themselves and make it
impossible to “win” in their courtrooms:
“Prosecutors
may knowingly file charges against innocent persons for a crime that
never occurred.” Tenth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals in Norton
v. Liddell, 620 F.2d 1375 (1980).
“Prosecutors
are immune from lawsuit for conspiring with judges to determine
outcome of judicial proceedings.” Ninth Circuit Federal Court of
Appeals in Asheman v. Pope, 793 E.2d 1072 (1986).
"Although
we know that Maggio cannot comply
with the order, we must keep a straight face and pretend
that he can, and must thus affirm orders which first
direct Maggio to do an impossibility, and then
punish him for refusal to perform it."
Maggio v. Zeitz, 333 U.S. 56 (1948)
“Legalese,”
word-smithing, and spin-doctoring
are terms and phrases utilized almost exclusively by the legal
and medical industries to isolate
their “craft”
from their unsuspecting “hosts” much like a leach or mosquito
will, at first, inject an agent into their “victim” to deaden any
pain and avoid detection of their parasitic actions.
The legal and medical
professions have a vested interest in keeping the People ignorant of
certain principles protecting the need for their "priestcraft."
Priestcraft is "the craft of specialists who work to create
the illusion that their craft is too complex to be understood by
anyone else."
Priestcraft
performs the basic intellectual function of obtaining popular support
and even worship for those who administer it.
To
facilitate this hidden feature in Law and Medicine, the legal and
medical industry is written and spoken in Code through the use of
Legalese and Priestcraft, wherein the meaning of the words do not
follow the definitions of the same words used in common speech or as
defined in our English Dictionaries. The primary
purpose of such a deceptive “device” is to conceal the meaning,
not to reveal it!
This forever keeps the interpretation of the intent and application
of Law and Medicine in the monopoly control of agents of government
and medical institutions with the blessings of “their” Courts.
I am not saying that nothing good comes out of these two industries;
I’m saying that both industries are “joined at the hip” with
the factor of “PROFIT” and making themselves rich with ill-gotten
gains. Remove the money and see how many “good works” they
deliver. And, although both industries deal in the “fiction of
deceptive make-believe and enforced ignorance,” the flesh
and blood war stories are facts of life that bring the truth of
pain, expense, and injustice to our own living room; yes, this is
where the rubber meets the road.
Here’s several “clichés” other researchers and writers have
used to describe “Legalese” and “Priestcraft”:
- clothed in rhetoric seeking more power and authority over the entire citizenry;
- a language foreign to the rules of English grammar;
- ambiguous language; massively intricate;
- circular-logic mumbo-jumbo
- outer space language (artificial English);
- complicated web usurping power with statutory terms of art;
- fictitious and strange language;
- designed to hide the truth;
- asinine display of ****;
- destined for those not familiar with the nuances of legal and medical jargon;
- malicious vexation by encoded process; and,
- cloak to disguise a collateral undertaking in U.S. funds.
“Legalese”
is a language of “Priestcraft” all its own, written in “code”
for the legal and medical professions. If you’re not a club
member (American Bar Association)
and possess your own “decoder ring” you’re out in the cold and
at their “mercy.”
One
thing is sure, when we (you, me, and some of the People) have been
walked on enough, we’ll rise up out of the dust, throw the chains
from our necks, and take back the gift our Creator gave us from the
fictions and boogeymen.
Oh,
by the way, how do you “stop” them? I suggest you determine their
basic venue of “drawing blood” from you. You are either part of
the problem or you’re part of the solution. If you sponsor the “red
& blue” light brigade that constantly feeds the Babylonian
Whore or other gubm’t leaches, you’re part of the problem. Help
starve the Whore of Babylon and you’re part of the solution.
